30-Day Art Challenge:

The Courage to Grow Your Artistic Practice

A free, process-led challenge exploring mixed media through daily creative practice.

What is it?

This free 30-day art challenge is an invitation to show up to your creative practice with courage, curiosity, and consistency.

Designed around small daily works and intuitive making, this challenge encourages you to work quickly, stay present, and let go of perfection. Rather than aiming for finished pieces, the focus is on momentum—building trust in your process through repetition and attention.

You can work on A3 watercolour paper or primed calico canvas, using mixed media and materials you already have.

What You’ll Receive

  • 4 downloadable Cheat Sheets for each week of the challenge

  • Clear guidance on how to structure your daily practice

  • A flexible framework suited to mixed media exploration

  • Optional weekly emails for encouragement and reflection

Who This Is For

  • Artists wanting to deepen or restart their practice

  • Creatives feeling stuck, hesitant, or disconnected from their work

  • Anyone interested in intuitive, mixed media processes

  • Those who want consistency without pressure

What This Challenge Is Not

  • A technical skills course

  • A productivity or output-based challenge

  • A requirement to share work publicly

  • A teacher/coach led experience

This challenge is about courage, not performance.

Materials Focus

Participants are encouraged to choose one surface for the duration of the challenge:

  • A3 watercolour paper
    or

  • Primed calico canvas

Working on a consistent surface allows patterns, confidence, and familiarity to emerge over time.

Cost

It’s FREE. The only thing you need to buy is the resources you wish to work with. But you could just use what you’ve got lying around the house.
